Charlies Restaurant & Coney Island

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time! Called in an order and received a call back to verify my order, was told it was because they only have one phone line and someone needed to use it. Order was not correct, so I guess I should be thankful someone called back. My husband went & picked it up and asked are you sure everything is here, they said yes., but of course it wasn't! Called back and asked to have my money sent to me, they refused. Told me the only thing I could do is come back there and they would give me what I was missing. I told them that I was not going to be inconvenienced anymore, please just send me my money. Once again they refused. Save your money, customer service like this should not be rewarded! (I didn't even mention the yelling at each other I had to hear on the phone!!)

We generally order a Gryo salad, greek style to go at least twice a month. We love to see Charlie actually in the restaurant every once in awhile. The majority of the staff are hard workers and pleasant. The restaurant does need a good cleaning and the booth cushions replaced.
