Save your self the hassle, the abuse and threats, yes threats to customers and avoid using them.

I had my flooring redone and need a dumpster, this was being done for a significant event to be held at home. After making repeated commitments they failed to deliver the dumpster on time. I explained that this was carpet and keeping this out in the rain would soak water and become heavy. They assured that if the container become heavy due to water this would not be charged. I shared the load and they assured that this would be under the limit of 2 Tons.

After the dumpster was ready for pickup I called in on Tuesday to have this picked up. The event was on Saturday and Christian (the one who makes up all the lies truly untrustworthy and unreliable) assured me that this will be done. On Friday I called and he assured me that it was on schedule for pickup today (the same sort of assurances he'd given during drop off#. On Friday I texted and called several times and he and his boss #Walter who initially was polite but turned out to be the bigger bully) asked me to be patient and that this would be done today. Friday went and no pickup. I called and pleaded to have this dumpster gone since we intented to put a food tent outside. They successfully managed to ruin our party and picked up the dumpster on Monday.

No phone calls no apologies, they went ahead and billed me for additional 3 tons. When I called to question how carpet could weigh that much and that all this weight was from carpet and the padding absorbing water and that I need them to refund or partial refund is when all the abuse and threats started. Walter who was initially kind became the BULLY, yes the BULLY. When I mentioned that I'd write a poor review, he threatened that if I do, he would get 3 tons on garbage and dump this on my front lawn. Said he knew where I lived and he was more than capable of doing this.

Untrustworthy, Poor Customer Service, Abusive and Threatening. This is how C&J Carting should be described. If Walter lives up to his threats hopefully I have the review that I can use against them. Christian and Walter should learn a few things about customer service, do not make commitments you cannot keep and if things are changing please inform the customer and do not over charge without notification.

Another interesting fact that I should have done earlier. They are no even listed on BBB so no wonder they can make threats and abuse customers since they believe that their reputation will not be impacted. Hopefully in this age of Social media there are other ways to spread the message.
