About Boone Animal Hospital

Our goal is to provide the finest-quality care to our patients and clients. We also want to ensure that our good service provides our clients the best possible value. We are a full service animal hospital caring for dogs and cats. Boone Animal Hospital was established by Dr. Ernest Boone in 1957 and has been serving Western Springs and surrounding communities since that time. We have always been known for the high quality of service that we provide for pets and their owners. Three of our five doctors have board certification, a true distinction for a community hospital. All of our employees live locally and are involved in our communities. We support the Pet Parade, as well as other organizations and charities in the area. We have been instrumental in the care of service dogs trained at the Hanson Center in Burr Ridge. We invite you to visit us and take a tour of our facility. I had been at this clinic for over 20 years. My Cat became ill and there was some testing done. They found she needed to be medicated. I had contacted the office with some follow up quesions and asked that the DR return my call. She did and I felt she was short with me but thought maybe it was my imagination so I let it go. A perscrip was called in for my cat and there was some confusion on the part of the office as to which pharmacy the perscription was called into. I contacted the Dr's office again in an attempt to locate my pet's perscription. The Doctor called me back and sounded irritated with me. I wasn't sure so I asked her "I'm sorry, but am I sensing some irritation?" She said YES!!! she said she couldn't believe how many times she had to call me! Um.... it was twice! I told her that I have actual Dr's that dont' have problems calling their patients twice and then we hung up. A few hrs later her office called me and appologized. They screwed up the perscrip.
