Good Food and Great Ambience

Bogies is French-American cuisse and offers a nice variety of foods from the pastas, seafood, and meat. The best part is that you can taste that the food was freshly cook. This is also a drawback as it will take a little longer to get your meals here than a place that does a lot of prep-work. The Ambience is great if you are into the ""Old Hollywood"" look and it's done with class. Most of the food was good though I was very disappointed in the Crab Cakes. They were small thin cakes instead of the more traditional big thick cakes. Otherwise all of the other food was very good and the serve bigger than average portions. Expect to pay around 5-10 for salad, appetizers, & dessert and about 20-30 for entrees. Parking will be rough, but will be worth it in the end.

The best restaurant on my list

It's a shame that most people do not know about Bogie's who has the best desserts in the West Coast, at least. Their Grand Marnier Souffle was as good as the one I had in Roppongi, Tokyo. The only difference was the price; I paid $18~22 depends on the sauce for each souffle whereas Bogies only charges $14 for two! Bogie's is the only restaurant I know who serves Crepe Suzettes in a decent way. I am a very particular or picky customer, but whatever I ask they always are pleased to fulfill my requests and never makes me feel wrong. Some people might feel their service is slow, but it's rather nice when you have a great company to talk with. If you cannot find your parking space on a street, there are parking garages adjacent to the building and on the 2nd Street.
