Bill White's Akron Lanes changed ownership in 2005 and is no longer affiliated with AMF.\t\n\t\nAs a sole proprietor, and past member of the PBA, Bill White brings the passion and commitment of a personal involvement with the experience and expertise of bowling at the highest levels together with a highly experienced staff to create every bowlers wish - high scores (as a result of consistent, playable lane conditions), fair pricing for league AND open bowlers (with some real deals like 99 cent bowling), and few problems (that are usually handled quickly by a veteran staff).\t\nThere are leagues of every sort on each night of the week.- women's leagues, men's leagues, mixed leagues as well as youth and Adult/youth leagues. There are monthly tournaments, special events, a pro shop and birthday party packages to make it a mecca for all things bowling related.\t\n\t\nThe sports lounge with 12 large HDTVs serve up all the sports a jock would like, and then some. On weekends Karaoke is conducted in the lounge for the American Idol wannabes.\t\n\t\nThere are 10 tournament sized billard tables in the pool area with an additional, smaller table in the lounge.\t\n\t\nHaving bowled in leagues for the past 43 years, since the age of 10, I would gladly extend an invitation to anyone to bowl at this center.
