Bickford of Peoria
About Bickford of Peoria
The Bickford family began their journey into senior living in 1991 for their beloved mother, Mary Bickford, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and whose needs became too great for them to manage. As they researched senior living options, they were shocked at what they found. The options offered too much or too little - none met her needs and nothing felt like home. Since they couldn't find what they wanted, they decided to create what she needed. What has sprung from Mary's life continues to grow, but at the end of day all that matters to them is the happiness of the sweet little lady in apartment 406, because nearly 30 years ago that "someone" was their Mary Bickford.
Reviews about Bickford of Peoria
At least one of the main problems is gone....
It is my opinion that David Seward who used to be the director at Bickford house is a very evil person. Fortunately he is no longer there. Wanna know why? It would make your skin crawl. The bad news is that he is now the director of the Grand Victorian in Washington. Too bad for them. Hopefully Bickford House has gotten better since he isn't there anymore.

Please look at more options and talk to the residents and employees before you make any decisions.

It is my opinion that the Bickford House in Peoria should be closed. Based on my observations and first hand knowledge, it is clear that they do not act in the best interests of their residents. They do not fully provide the services that are paid for.
