Bernal Racing

My son's and my sad experience with Bernal Racing: They told my 16 yr old son the bore on his YZ250 engine looked "cherry" and it would only cost $300 to fix his top end. Said he would give him a "deal' on a new power valve, charged him more then I can buy it for at the dealer. Next he said the bore was bad and needed to be re-plated and it will cost $225 more. Gave him $175 to start work and $200 more 3 days later, he could not find his "record" of the $200 payment and needed to refer to my credit card records. He had the bike for OVER a month and charged a total of +$800. Said it was broken-in and ran great when we picked it up. Got it home and it ran absolutely awful, called him and said it must be "loaded-up" and to run it more. We ran it more with no improvement, called back to complain and was told to "FIX IT MYSELF". AVOID this RIPOFF like the plague and warn your friends.
