Benny's Seafood Restaurant

It's not that the food at Benny's is bad, it's not. Their mofongo with chunks of fried pork is delicious. However, I can not remember how many times we requested water and were ignored. The place was not full on the 2 times we went (Yes! We went back a second time). We tried to have an open mind and figured anyone could have a bad day but something as basic as bringing water to a table at a restaurant should be a given. And having to "beg" for the water at said restaurant is inexcusable. Benny's has been there for a looooong time so they must be doing something right but I failed to see it.

Ja, ja, ja who ever says that the their service was good, probably was drunk or high on something!!! Their service is not bad is HORRIBLE!!! The food is acceptable and the prices??? I was there las night with my family and at the end I had to stand and walk to the bar so I could pay my check after waiting for another 20 minutes after we finishing dinner and on top of that the tip was included!!! I've been in Miami for 11 years and this restaurants services has always been like this. The last time I went there was like 2 years ago so I decided to go there yesterday hoping they have fix their problem, but no. I'll NEVER go there again. I rather drive a little farther to Old San Juan in 57 Ave. and 12 St. is a little pricer but you will be treated with respect and it will be a pleasure tipping their waiters.

I LIVE DOWN THE STREET FROM BENNY'S SEAF0OD RESTAURANT FOR THE PAST 18 YEARS , THE PLACE IS ALWAYS EMPTY ,EVEN ON THE WEEKENDS. I CANNOT BELIVE THAT THIS RESTAURAN WAS FEATURE IN THE FOOD CHANNEL. WHER THEY KIDDING??
