It truly amazes me that a low income family with health issues can be wrote-up and evicted from a Low Income complex for an incident that occurred within the family. They were not given the opportunity to have the write-ups corrected (which were written wrong by management to begin with), refused the right to appeal, and the eviction was enforced by court order, while other tenants who are "buddy-buddy" with or relatives of management can do anything they darn well please, get numerous, even dozens of write-ups, and have nothing done to them! Not to mention Nepotism, Drugs, and Copperheads because the grass is left unattended!

I'm fed up with Belmont's Hiawatha Village Senior/dissabled apts. and am moving after 6 yrs to a place where tenants are respected and the facilities are well-kept. The current mgr. here is in your face all the time, nosey, tells your confidential info to other tenants and won't let our greast maint. staff do their jobs, sticking her dumb nose into everything. The wood siding is rotten, vinyl siding moldy and chipped, the metal windows let in drafts making our elec. bills high. Most residents are looking to move when they can arrange. We miss our former manager. New tenants hate this place within a couple of months of moving in. It's just a horrible stressful place. Wish they would hire a manager who isn't "all into herself" and who would just take care of business!
