Bead Heaven

I am new to beading and have been in the store several times without running into the owner. The staff were always helpful and engaging. Today the owner was actually in and working at the station in the middle of the store. She had dumped a large selection of sea glass that she was going to make into pendants. I admired them and started picking out shapes to purchase. When I asked some questions and want to pay for my selections I was told she would not sell the glass to me at all. I offered to purchase the glass to be made into pendants and earrings and was again told no. I have never encountered a store owner displaying items and refusing to sell them and being rude to a customer. I will NEVER return to this store and will tell everyone about the horrible service I received from the OWNER!

I am a professional beader, sell at shows and make custom orders, and I have not found a better bead store in the suburbs. What a selection - a lot of crystals, both Swarovsky and Chinese....venetian glass beads....buttons....findings in sterling, brass, copper, and pewter.....very unique stone pendants....high quality beads and stones....tons of seed beads.....and various silks and leather cord. There is even a number of beads for kids with family-friendly prices. This store IS a little piece of heaven, and the quality is so much better than Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Staff is friendly without being solicitous, and very helpful with projects when you need them. Major kudo's, Bead Heaven.
