Favorite Eye Doctor in 26 years

I started wearing glasses when I was 8 years old, and Dr. Barrett is the first eye doctor I actually like. He is competent, understands not only eyes but the *updated* information on eyes, and he is great at explaining everything, which I prefer. His demeanor is calm and personable, and his service is excellent. I would agree that some of the reception staff are quite a bit less than professional, but there are a couple who have been with Dr. Barrett for a long time that make up the difference. Regardless, although it would be nice to be treated as a valued client when I arrive for my annual (ish) appointments, I don't pick my doctor by his or her staff -- I pick my doctor by the doctor's skill. In my 26 years, I find Dr. Barrett to be near the top of the mark.

Worste Ever

I will never use this office again. The Doctor is substandard and the reception staff is even worse. Rude and impersonal I get better service at Wal-Mart by minimum wage high school drop outs than by this establishment. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else!! Not only are they less than thorough with the exam and service but the prices are over the top! Not worth it. Don't go there.
