Great staff and facility! Love the kennel free area. Manager loved on my dog the whole time! Staff was extremely kind and they know what they're doing! Don't go anywhere else!

My fur child and I have been loyal customers of Barking Hound Village Lofts for the past 3+ years. We had been going to a different daycare facility but, because of the lack of attention and disregard for his comfort at the other daycare, we switched to BHV Lofts. He gets so excited every time we pull into the Barking Hound parking lot!! He even got a report card after our first visit that detailed his favorite parts of the day, the other fur children with whom he had made friends, etc. The staff is truly an amazing group of people!!!! \t\n\t\nOne thing I have noticed about BHV that is different from other daycare centers is the low turnover rate. I've seen the same staff members there since my fur child was first "enrolled" years ago. I honestly believe that the consistency of the staff says a lot about the business establishment- it's not easy work so they wouldn't stay unless the compensation and satisfaction with the job description and clientele are high. It is obviously a place for people who love dogs- both owners and care takers. \t\n\t\nFinally, whomever wrote that the location (Midtown/Poncey Highlands) is the ghetto is so ridiculously wrong. It is an extremely convenient location for anyone who lives downtown or in Midtown or anywhere in between. Though some may consider it a "transitional" neighborhood, it is absolutely NOT the ghetto and the most important thing, in my opinion, is how your dog is treated and the space/cleanliness/access to the outdoors, etc. BHV Lofts has all of that and more. It is a shame that that review was posted because it is entirely off-base. I hope this somewhat rectifies it.

I have brought my dog to the "Lofts" for doggie day-care and yes, the building is in need of some work, but the staff was been pleasant to work with and great with my boy! The neighborhood is transitional, yes, but NOT a ghetto!
