Bakers Alterations & Consignment

I took a dress to get altered, and the seamstress told me I should just buy a new dress instead of get it altered. She hesitantly took it and did what I asked her to do. A month later I took a second dress with extra fabric to add, the seamstress told me to wash it so the fabric would shrink and come back. She also said it was going to be "very expensive" and when I asked how much it would cost, she said 24.00. So I took the fabric home, washed it, and when I showed up the next day she said "Oh, well I don't know if we have the right color of string, do you want to pick out the string?" Then she said I would have to go to Hobby Lobby to buy string and THEN come back.

I recommend Big and Tall. They are going to charge me $8.00 for the same service, and they were so much nicer there.

horrible! not reliable! wedding was almost ruined because of this store!
