A Stitch In Time

I had a Janome repaired at a Stitch in Time a couple years and I was very satisfied promt process, luckily I have not had to go back for any further repairs. However, I decided to buy my wife a sewing maching for Christmas this year and after some research online I decided to go back to A Stich in Time. I couldn't have been happier with selection, prices, and service. I had little knowledge of what I wanted to purchase, but with the help of the owner and his assistant I ended up getting what I felt was a great deal on a top of the line embroidery machine

I purchased a sewing machine that I use for general sewing and was very satisfied with the help I received.even when I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted. She took time with me to discuss the differences and decided a very basic machine is all I needed, even gave me a lesson on using the machine. Later when I had difficulty trying to sew curtains, I called, and she was very helpful on explaining what I was doing wrong and was able to correct the problem over the phone.

The man does good repair work. With that being said, they really need to work on their customer service. The lady who runs the shop is one of the grumpest people ever, and when I called to ask why a permanent sticker with the store's contact info was placed on my machine, I was told "only 1 in 1,000 complains-- what's the problem?" Really? I think I'll be going somewhere else next time.
