Reviews of Bloomingdale's
Best of Soho, but not too touristy
I love this store! When it first opened, I was really skeptical because I thought opening a Bloomie's would make Broadway seem really commercial and annoying. Since the people traffic on Broadway is pretty packed all day, I thought that the last thing Soho needed was another major luxury retailer. \t\n\t\nBut as soon as I landed on the 2nd floor, I was amazed to find the wall to wall shelves filled with gorgeous designer bags. So I quickly changed my mind. I love that the selection is limited and that the merchandise moves very quickly. It gives the shopper a sense of urgency and for me personally, I made it a habit of browsing through the store on a bi-weekly basis. It was dangerous for my wallet, but totally worth checking out the new merch!

This place is great! All high end dresses and clothing from BCBG to Tahari! Great selection of Juicy sweats and great cocktail dresses. When they have a sale....it's even better!!!

although i'm still nostalgic for the old canal jean co., i just have to ask, why is this bloomingdale's so much better than the one on 59th street? the staff are SO much better and more helpful. i think i can count on one hand (ok, 2?) the number of times i've been offered assistance at the uptown bloomingdale's over the years, and at the soho one, it's a regular occurrence. i wouldn't say i'm a regular customer, since the clothes are still generally out of my price range for normal shopping, but at least i know when i do go i'm likely to actually have a good experience.

I had a great experience shopping at Bloomingdale's Soho last week. The male staff member who helped me in ladies apparel was both pleasant and efficient during my time in the dressing room. I found it much easier to look at clothing here...

Its not so hot in here I tell you. Its somewhat disorganized and to navigate the place you will need a map. The people who work here are so miserable and fake so why bother exposing yourself to that? If you look the part of a millionaire......

Overpriced, arrogant staff, security that will follow you around the store if you're tattooed, pierced, or not the average yuppie shopper! I was appalled. Their ideas of SALES are a joke! I'm sorry but an item that is $40 everywhere else...
