Earlier this year I drove thru the Perry Michigan McDonalds and ordered a small chocolate shake. The woman at the window gave me a large stating that it was "on the counter.". It did not taste right so when I went to rinse out the cup a mouse plopped into the sink. I was horrified. I made plans to go back to the store and speak with them face to face. As I was on my way I was very upset and speaking to my sister on the phone. She called McD and spoke with a woman who called me to tell me it was not possible. She said there was video she could watch and ask employees who were there. I called the the next day to ask what she learned and she told me 10 different ways how it could not happen. She was vague about it being on the counter repeating that it could not happen. Another McD employee called me to ask about it. I asked her to call me back after she saw the video. She said she would. A McDonald lawyer called me and we spoke. I asked HER to call me back after she saw the video. Neither called me back. I got a letter stating that since I did not have the mouse they were done with this. I know we live in a society where someone might think this was a ploy for money. I repeatedly told everyone I dealt with that it was not. This was mishandled 3 different ways and I was also disappointed with Shiawassee Public Health Dept. The man called McDonalds and they told him it did not happens so he wrote me off too. No matter what anyone one of them say. There was a mouse in my shake. Returned a movie on time but for some reason it was not returned back into the system until the next day. The girl was very rude a accused me of lying was not helpful what so ever. Sorry but I don't mind paying a 3.25 late fee when I actually am late.
