This position will maintain an emphasis on acquiring new clients with an emphasis on small to medium businesses.
Essential Job Functions:
· Reach established sales goals
· Develop customer base necessary to meet sales forecasts&budgets;
· Keep up with general QuickBooks knowledge
· Attend Chamber of Commerce business networking events - some early a.m.&evening
· Prospect for new business and maintain relationship with your clients
· Maintain client contact after the "sale"
· Present weekly updates
· Must make cold calls regularly to increase contact base
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
· Ability to multi task & prioritize responsibilities
· Positive attitude
· Able to work with clients, in-house accountants & clients' CPAs
· Excellent verbal & written communication skills
· Self-motivated / ability to do well with little or no supervision
· Knowledge of Microsoft products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Knowledge of ACT! CRM system
· Ability to write proposals & present them to prospective clients
· Ability to work in a team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience desired
· One year outside sales
· Knowledge of Accounting desired
