Hello to All:In the height of the tragedy that Ocean City Residents have endured with Hurricane Sandy, I have recently learned that Berger Realty is not helping or assisting in the replacement of willing residents to 'rent' for the winter months. My grandmother, a resident of Ocean City for over 30 years, has a 5 bedroom glorious home on the bay, and was recently affected by the wrath of Sandy. Looking to rent an apt in the town until construction is completed, I was informed that "Our broker does not want us to become involved in transactions arising out of the influx of relief workers and of displaced residents" That is not only disheartens but infuriating. As a long time resident of the area, we have to look at Berger rental offices on every block? They cannot even help out the residents in the area that they so prosperously BENEFIT from financially year after year? I will not be recommending this agency to any friends, relatives or business colleagues in the future to utilize for renting purposes. Thank you, hopefully this is well received.
