Backyard Bookkeeper aspires to be different from other bookkeeping firms; we do bookkeeping because we love it, while others do bookkeeping because their clients think it's tedious. When we set up or clean up a company's books, it really is a beautiful thing. We love knowing that every expense has been accounted for and that all the accounts have been reconciled down to the penny. We love knowing that the system we set up to report daily sales is working and will take little or no further maintenance, because the directions are easy to follow and there is little room for error--even if we are no longer the ones implementing the system. We love looking through financial data and making sure all the loose ends are tied up, away, and into oblivion.
