About Chandler, AZ
Chandler, Arizona, is one of the largest of Phoenix's suburbs, bordered by the cities of Tempe, Mesa and Gilbert (http://media.merchantcircle.com/29981746/DSCN1001_full.jpeg) and by the Gila River Indian Community. The town was named for Dr. Alexander John Chandler, who moved to the area in 1891 and was the territory?s first veterinary surgeon. Located within Chandler are regional facilities for Intel as well as Orbital Sciences Corporation, and it is also home to Chandler Regional Airport. The annual Ostrich Festival attracts also attracts visitors.
