How to Find Fax Numbers with Directories

Using Fax Number Directories

Fax number directories can be used to find the fax number to many businesses. There are several online fax directories available, and the website of each one will need to be navigated differently to find the fax number you are looking for.

  1. Visit a free online fax directory such as Free Searching. Most of these types of directories are for business fax numbers.

  2. Click on the "FAX Search" link on the left side of the page to be taken to the directory.

  3. Choose whether you would like to search by business name, number, country or language, and click the applicable link.

  4. If searching by business name, click on the letter of the alphabet that the business name starts with. For example, if you are searching for the fax number for Bing, you would click on the letter "B."

  5. Scroll down to find the business name you are searching for, and click on it.

  6. If the fax number for the business is available, it will be displayed on the detail page. Not all business fax numbers are listed. You may need to reference several online fax number directories to find the one with the most available fax numbers or for the specific fax number you are looking for.

  7. If the fax number cannot be found on the online directory, try visiting the business website. Check under the "Contact Us" tab of the site to see whether a fax number is listed for the business.
