How to Shine a Bathroom Sink
Cleaning the bathroom is something that needs to be done on a regular basis. It is one of the most frequently used rooms in the house and it should always be in presentable condition. Unlike the tub or the shower, the sink is one of the first things that gets noticed when you walk in your bathroom, so it should receive special attention.
How to Shine a Bathroom Sink
- Put on a pair of rubber gloves to protect your hands from being exposed to the cleaning solution. Depending on the strength of the solution used, it could cause your skin to blister or peel.
- Clear off any items that may be lying around the sink. Some people keep their toothbrushes in this area and you do not want to expose them to any toxic chemicals.
- Spray a bathroom cleaner or pour some bleach into the sink and allow it to sit for approximately five to ten minutes. This will give it enough time to loosen up any mildew or soap scum that has built up on the sink.
- Use a sponge or washcloth to scrub the sink thoroughly by rubbing in a circular motion.
- Rinse the sink thoroughly with warm water.
- Use paper towels to dry thoroughly after the cleaning process is complete.
- Spray the basin of the sink and the metal fixtures with glass cleaner and use paper towels to wipe it dry. This will add shine to your sink and fixtures.
