How to Make Google AdSense Channels

Google AdSense encompasses a channels feature to maximize and allow you to keep track of your earnings in a better way. Channels serve two purposes: to place an ad that lets you keep track of your earnings for the specific ad as well as enable an advertiser to target a specific channel to letting the advertiser know where the ad will be featured.

What You'll Need:

• Place to display your ad

1.  Open up your preferred Internet browser and navigate to the Google Adsense. Once on the website, log into your account.

2.  Use your mouse to click on the tab labeled "My Ads,” its located at the top of the page. Next, use your mouse to click the link labeled "Custom channels.” Lastly, select the button labeled "New custom channel."

3.  Input the name of the Channel inside the field provided. Select the "add" button, directly next to the ads you want to add to the Channel. You can leave this section blank if you are planning to create a new ad for the Channel.

4.  Use your mouse to click the "Show this custom channel to advertisers as a targetable ad placement" check box only if you wish to allow advertisers to target the Channel. If you are planning to do so, you will want to fill in the "Ads appear on" field with the page or pages where the ads will appear. Chose the location in the "Ad location" drop-down menu.

5.  Input a description for the advertisers in the field provided. Chose the site language from the drop-down menu and select "Save" to create the new Channel.
