  3. Make sure the plan features food you can eat. If you are not capable of eating what is on the plan, then the plan will not work for you. 

  4. Listen to exercise recommendations of the program. Eating is only part of your diet plan. Most programs will offer exercise recommendations to go with the program. Make sure to follow them to increase success.

  5. Consider the price of the plan. While you may find a plan that otherwise works for you, be realistic about the costs. If you start a plan but cannot finish it because of the money, you will not be able to complete your weight loss goals and will only become frustrated.
