How to Dip a Soft Serve Cone
Soft serve ice cream has always been a favorite for adults and children alike. It is not hard to dip a soft serve cone, even though the ice cream is very soft and seems like it could fall off of the cone in seconds. You can dip the cone in a few short steps, and can add toppings to the dipped cone.
- Pour the soft serve ice cream into the cone making sure it reaches the bottom of the cone. The ice cream will compact into the ice cream cone, which will allow you to be able to flip the cone over without the ice cream coming out.
- Flip the ice cream cone over so that the bottom is pointing upwards, so that it is upside down.
- Dip the cone into the dipping sauce you are using. Make sure the sauce completely covers the ice cream. Leave it in the sauce for approximately three seconds, and then quickly pull it straight up. Make sure you do not angle the ice cream. It must be kept in a straight position.
- Hold the ice cream cone over the sauce upside-down for approximately 5 to 10 seconds to allow the sauce to drip off, and allow it to harden on the cone.
- Dip it in the sauce again if you want to double coat it. If you want to add toppings to the cone, add them as soon as you flip it over while the sauce is still soft. If the dipping sauce hardens, you will not be able to add any toppings to it.
