How to Design Your Own Nike Dunks Trainers

Designing your own Nike Dunks Trainers is a great way to personalize your shoe and create a unique pair of shoes that you don't have to worry about seeing on someone else. It gives you the opportunity to create a shoe that you love.


  1. Log onto the Nike website. Once there, choose the customize your own link on the bottom of the page.

  2. Choose the color of the overlay that you like best. There are 8 colors to choose from.

  3. Choose the mesh color that you like best. This is going to be on the inside lining of the shoe as well as the tongue of the shoe. There are 13 colors to choose from. At this same step, choose an accent color that you want to go with your shoe.

  4. Choose the color of the laces that you like best. There are 14 colors to choose from. You can also choose a secondary lace color as most Nike shoes come with an extra pair of laces.

  5. Choose the color of your Nike Swoosh. This is going to be very prominent on your shoe as it is the main logo and hugely displayed on the outside of your shoe.

  6. Select the color of your outside rim. This is the top of the rubber sole that goes around the shoe.

  7. Choose what kind of sock liner you want. You have the options of responsive or cushioned.

  8. Choose the color of your sole. You have three options: black, white or neon yellow.

  9. Decide if you want to keep the logo on the shoe or to write your own personal message. If you choose to write your own message, you can type up to 8 characters. Select the font type and the color of your message.

  10. Preview your shoe and make your revisions or add to cart.
