Women
- Wear a large pair of earrings.
- Apply neon eye makeup, bright blush and lipstick.
- Wear an oversized sweatshirt, sweater or t-shirt, with a large belt wrapped around it.
- Pull the shirt out a little so it hangs over the belt.
- Wear a pair of leggings that come down to your mid-calf or ankle. You can wear black leggings, or a bright color such as hot pink or yellow.
- Wear a mini skirt over your leggings.
- Wear a pair of leg warmers over your leggings.
- Put on a pair of sneakers. Sneakers can be high top or low top.
- Wear a pair of fingerless gloves.
- Tease your hair into a large hairstyle by holding different sections up and using a pick to tease the hair down towards the roots. It is important to use plenty of hairspray to keep your large hairstyle in place.
- Tie a neon colored headband around your head.

- Look for a pair of tight, stone-washed jeans or parachute pants.
- Wear a t-shirt with a picture of an '80s band on it.
- Look for a Members Only jacket to wear over your band t-shirt.
