How to Cover Metal Chairs
Many people rent tables and chairs when they have an event, which could drive the cost up drastically and be a burden for someone on a budget. One way that you can keep the cost down is to use simple metal chairs and dress them up to match your decor.
How to Cover Metal Chairs
Measure the width of the chair as well as the length all the way around from the back legs to the front legs.
Use the measurements to cut the fabric.
Double-fold all the edges and sew a 3/4" hem with matching thread.
With the hem down, drape the fabric and center it over the chair.
Pinch the fabric together where the seat meets the back. Mark this area because this is where the ties will be attached.
Attach a 10" piece of ribbon at these points and tie them in a bow. This will secure the cover to the chair.
