How to Service Commercial Laundry Systems

How to Buy Professional Laundry Systems

If you want to start a Laundromat business, you’ll have to invest in professional laundry equipment before you can open your doors to the public.  Professional laundry systems are available in a wide range of brands, models, capabilities and sizes.  To buy the right commercial laundry equipment for your business, create a budget, narrow down your choices to use or new machines, and make a purchase from a reputable source.

  1. Define your budget.  Professional laundry systems can be very expensive, so it’s important to decide how much money you can spend on buying equipment for your business.  Having a fixed budget will help you narrow down your choices, and choose equipment that won’t put a financial strain on your new business.  Keep in mind that you’ll need to put some money aside for emergency repairs in case your equipment breaks down or needs to be replaced.

  2. Decide between buying used or new equipment.  Many people are apprehensive about buying used laundry equipment because they are afraid it will be more likely to break down.  That’s not necessarily the case, especially if you buy used systems that were manufactured by a well-known brand.  Buying used equipment from high-end manufacturers can be a better choice than buying cheap brand new systems that are composed of low-quality parts.

  3. Purchase professional laundry systems from a trusted source.  There are several different ways you can buy commercial laundry equipment depending on your needs and budget.  If you are buying brand new equipment, purchase directly from the manufacturer.  Do not buy new equipment that does not come with a reasonable warranty.  If you want to buy used laundry equipment, you can purchase it from a private seller or through an auction.  Before purchasing equipment from a private seller, inspect it for any damages yourself, or consult a mechanic if you don’t have a technical background.  If you want to get a deal at an auction, look for auction houses that deal with commercial sales.
