A job as a bartender is an excellent way to earn a lot of extra cash in a short amount of time. Bartenders start the party and are the therapist all in one night. The job requires very little training and is suitable for most anyone. If you're at least 21 years old and love to be around people, bartending may be just for you.





  • Research local bartending schools in your area and enroll in classes. Generally, the coursework for becoming a bartender only lasts about a month and only requires about 10 hours of coursework each week. These courses allow you to study at home at your own pace but still gain the same knowledge as students who attend a traditional class setting.   • As with most things, practice makes perfect. Invite friends and family over often to experiment with them.
