    $8,000 per year depending on the chosen school. Employment
    opportunities after finishing the training program include help desk
    support for companies, retail computer assistance, and sales. If you
    take certification exams during the time in the technical school
    that will increase your salary upon completion.

  • Community colleges offer an
    associate degree for computer technicians. Community colleges often
    employee local business people to teach the classes and this can
    benefit you upon graduation in finding a job. Associate degree major
    from a community college costs on average $2,000 to $4,000 per year
    depending on the state that you live in. Financial aid is available
    for community college for lower income families or individuals.

  • Colleges and Universities offer Bachelor's and Master's degrees in computer fields. Obtaining a
    degree in a specific computer field will increase the salary
    potential. Tuition will vary depending on the school chosen.

    and salary is increased with the additional schooling.
