About Bigelow, AR
Bigelow is a part of the River Valley region of Arkansas, in Perry County. The town name was changed in 1911, from Esau to Bigelow.The closest metropolitan area is Little Rock. Attractions in Bigelow include Wye Mountain, which has seven acres of land planted with daffodils. Bigelow hosts the annual Daffodil Festival each March. The 2009 Census reported a population of 329. Bigelow was once the largest town in the county, however, and was voted to be the new location of the county seat. Despite the vote, the move never happened and the county seat remains in Perryville.
