Here at American Sliding door and window, we have been in the door and window business since the early 90's. We started a small company repairing sliding doors and windows. By repairing them we were able to see and work on a vast amount of different types and styles of sliding doors and windows. This gave us the advantage of seeing what designs worked and what did not work. That also let us see which manufacturers were doing things right and which ones were taking short cuts. Now American Sliding Door and Window had the knowledge to not only sell and install only quality products, they will operate the best, and last the longest. They also generally tend to be better looking doors, with a much higher quality finish that lasts. We only work with the best quality products we can find. Before American Sliding Door and Window will sell or install any product, we ask ourselves, would we install this in our house. Is the quality there and will the product last and keep working for a long time. If we won’t install it in our house, we won't talk you into buying it.

At American sliding door and window we install and repair sliding doors, windows, closet doors, pocket doors (without cutting your wall open), shower doors, tub enclosures, a wide variety of custom high end exotic doors and windows (that you will see on this web site) and screens. A majority of the exterior doors and windows you will see here are manufactured by us. Now with all the different products American Sliding Door and Window has been exposed to, and the different installation methods we have been able to carefully examine what caused leaking problems, operating problems , corrosion problems, hardware breaking problems, installation mistakes, and so on. We have learned what works and what does not work. This includes the designs and materials used for the doors and windows, and also installation procedures. There are a lot of products installed wrong and that causes them to fail and stop working, it also causes them to leak. A lot of guys will install doors or windows to meet building codes, but these are minimum standards, and minimum is not good enough for us.

We strive for the best possible finished product and installation. For American Sliding Door and Window this is the only way to do things! This type of thinking also led us to start making our own products, just so we could have the changes we knew to be better. Our Coronado multi-slide doors and our Malibu bi-folding doors are made with smaller sight lines that Architects always asking for, but the frames are extruded in a way the makes then real strong. All of the hardware, screws, rollers, locks ect. Are all made from high grade Stainless Steel. All of our finishes are either a class 1 hard anodizing or powder coated. Custom colors are available; you can choose virtually any color you want.
