The selection and prices are great; however, it's not worth it in the end. Everything sold is "As Is", which is fine. It is no secret. BUT, once they have your money in hand, they could care less how they do business. They have sold you what they needed to keep themselves going, the consumer is no longer important. It's sad, because we were really impressed with the selection and price, and had looked for days at countless stores to find what we wanted. We found what we wanted here and was excited to have our couches delivered. We had new wood floors installed the day before the couches were delivered. The delivery guys used a dolly on casters to move the very heavy couches. Our floor has a new 12-foot gouge going down the middle of our living room and hallway now. Our brand new front door was also damaged and gouged. We spent $2000 on our couches and now have a damaged floor that the company says they are not liable for because apparently when I signed for delivery I agreed that they were not responsible for damages. One would assume damages refers to minor, accidental damages...not full out negligent damages. They offered me $150 to fix the floor...that won't even pay for the box of wood needed, sure won't cover the $750 for labor, and the door is out of the question. It has been an ongoing ordeal to get someone to return calls, to make any sense when they do, and to act like they are genuinely apologetic is out of the question. They tried to say it was our negligence by having the furniture delivered so soon after installation, but the flooring company and installers both gave us the go ahead. Even if the floor were 10 years old, it would have gouged just the same. Careless, horrible business.

american furniture mart is the worst store i've ever seen. the customer service is beyond abyssmal, the staff is unhelpful and rude. we bought a sofa and were promised we'd get it in 10 to 14 days. 2 weeks later, nobody had called us so we called them and were told it'd be another 2 weeks. after the second 2 weeks, again no calls from them. when we called them, they said one more week. we finally got the sofa more than 5 weeks after we'd bought it. all sales clerks were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful and i'd never set foot in this store again. business can's be conducted in their terrible and dishonest way.

Myself and my fiance went to buy 2 end tables and 2 lamp. The guy said we had to go and pay first which understood. And then back up the truck and then come back in and let us know where the items were. !!! Crazy why not get a system that state where the items is located. My fiance he went and go the truck . I stayed and showed where the items were one guy move the items one at a time. The other guys just stood there.. Not good people skills. And then we had to place the items in the truck we spent $411.00 there. YOU WOULD THINK THAT THEY COULD LOAD THE ITEMS IN THE TRUCK.. What type of business is this that don't care if they make money or not..
