On Mother's Day, my boyfriend and I made a special drive just to eat lunch at Cajun Corner. For weeks I had told him what great food and service this place has. Well I can say I was eating ""crow"" after our visit. After placing our order, we waited for 25 to 30 minutes. Finally our waitress said she did not know what was taking so long, but it would be a few more minutes. Then was told ""I'll bring you some cheesy bread, it is going to be a few more minutes."" After an hour, I told the waitress to cancel the order we had about 150 miles to drive and had to get home. She brings us a check for 2 iced teas, the soup my boyfried had and the salad I had. These two items were compliments of our dinner. It was not the money, it was the principle of the matter. I have waitressed for 20+ years, and never once have I ever treated a customer like we were treated. Finally, the manager comes out and tells us there was a problem with the oven....was this not something she could have told us an hour before and we would have been glad to order something else. I would have to agree with the above listing! The service, attitudes of employees, and quality and taste of food have all gone way down hill. When old Mexico was located downtown it was maybe 3-4 stars. Maybe 1/2 - 1 star as of today. Also if you are going to come into our country illegally, thats bad enough!
