I just wanted to let someone know that this location will be nominated for the 'Worlds Worst McDonalds' award. The interior smells like feet and urine, the staff is so slow that it almost seems intentional and malevolent, ive witnessed a drive through worker eating a Big Mac while processing my payment, and ive actually seen a sign posted on the drive through intercom that read "Honk for service". Professor Plumb hopes everyone enjoyed the snow yesterday. It's not very often that we get the opportunity to play in the snow at our own homes. Our great state is mostly known for our hot and steamy days spent on the lake or at our beaches.  This may be why it's been my experience that some homeowners are not prepared for bursting pipes. Professor Plumb would like to share a few tips that may help prevent frozen water lines. Insulate pipes that may be exposed to the cold weather. Take a look around your house. These pipes may be found in a basement, garage, crawl spaces or outside the home. Open cabinet doors in the bathroom and kitchen areas, these may not be heated as well as the rest of your home. Leave your faucet water running at a steady drip if the temperatures are going below freezing for an extended period of time. Keep your heat on if you're going out of town or if you own a second home. Relocate exposed pipes.
