Joe Muggs

By BrettLovell

I found a gift card I had received last Christmas and had never used, I have no clue what the balance is though. There is no balance printed on card, no phone number on the card to call for balance, and I have spent forever trying to find a corporate website but only can come up with local Joe muggs websites. Did anyone think this through? Hey corporate just go buy someone else's gift card and figure out what customer service looks like! ...read more

Jim & Nicks Barbecue Corporate Office

1.0

By drsouth

I visit the Jim & Nicks location in Franklin, TN probably once a week and I get the same thing every time. I usually have a typically good experience and the food is consistent. I order my food, go home, and eat. Nothing out of the ordinary no extra hassle. However, last night was an absolute nightmare. I went through the drive through as normal it was about 10 minutes before closing and although I was unaware of the time it didn’t matter because they were obliviously closing earlier than the specified closing time. As I would soon find out they had already disposed of nearly everything on the menu. I spent 3-4 min at the speaker trying to place my order before I was told to drive around because they supposedly couldn't hear me. I then drove around and began to place my order with one of the workers by the name of Mason and he was noticeably agitated the entire time and I couldn't figure out why. He then stopped me in the middle of placing my order and walked away for an additional 3-5 min and then came back and began to tell me a list of things they were out of. It was then that I asked what time do they close and he said 9:30 I looked at the clock and it was 9:28. So at this point I am extra confused because I know that I have been here for at least 10 min and technically it is still not 9:30. Although, I understand wanting to close up your first order of business it to sever your customers. Fast forward 30 more min and I am still at the drive through window going back and forth with the supposed to be manager by the name of Justin who demonstrated no customer service or managerial skills and still haven't received even as much as a water. I explained to Justin how unprofessional and unacceptable this whole ordeal has been and he was completely unapologetic and his demeanor screamed I could care less get the eff out of my face. After 45 min of sitting at the window he ended up giving away some cold left overs and one associate had the nerve to come over to the window and ask had I paid before he handed it out the window. I said what is the total? You don't even know what is in the bag or how to ring that up... it is certainly not a meal that you normally sale. It is just a little of this and a little of that because you already told me that you don't have anything available to make a complete meal. So he ended up just handing the bag over with the worst attitude, no apologies, no gift card as an incentive to come back, no anything just cold left over food after nearly an hour wait in the drive through with a bad display of customer service. And to top it all off while I was explain to the manager how often I visit this location and how disappointed I was he shrugged his shoulders, closed and locked the drive through window in my face and walked away. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Management needs to swoop down on this location and clean house with the quickness. An incompetent rude staff like this is the quickest way to send customers running to the competition. Do yourself a favor bypass the Franklin location and save yourself the headache. ...read more
