I absolutely loved the service we received. Also loved the food!! Not sure of the servers name cause she did not give it but I do know that the chef tonight was her daughter. She was so friendly, our glasses were kept full, our plates were cleared when needed, she asked how we were and how was the food. This is probably about the 4th time we have been and have never had anyone wait on us with such an upbeat personality. She was wonderful. She did explain that they were short handed in the kitchen and that the manager on duty was having to cook. Chinese food lovers delight. This place is great. The traditional things like egg rolls and fried rice were good. The sushi was more complete than most you'll find , because they had nigiri. i have never bothered to write a review on a place but always search them. we went there for lunch yesterday because of the menu and prices i found online. it seemed like it would be similar to a place we loved in southeast georgia.... wow was i wrong! i ordered the oyster dinner which was $12 for 8 of the smallest STRAIGHT OUT THE CAN oysters ive ever had in my life. when the waitress who by the way kept rushing us, brought out the food she brought out a plate with only these tiny little oysters on them... keep in mind i had ordered a salad and baked potato with it. the oysters had no flavor and they were literally the size of a dime. the salad came last and it was brown and wilted and not dressed properly to be a caesar salad. the potato which was "loaded" was brunt and missing chives. my husband ordered the flounder sandwich and he said it had no flavor not even salt. he began to add tabasco sauce which was sooooo watered down that it poured out everywhere and also tasted like n ...read more

I just called this location for a take out order and was told that they were "too busy" for take out orders! WHAT? It takes just as long to prepare it for dine in as it does for take-out, and it saves them dishes to wash! REDICULOUS! Within the past four weeks, I've been to the Church's Chicken on Ford Parkway, Bessemer, Alabama, three times ,with tonight, January 28, 2009, being the most recent visit after Bible Study. All three times, I've left without being served because of poor customer service. It takes too long to get waited on and the workers there lack the common courtesy to say "we will be with you shortly" or anything. I really like Church's Chicken and this location is 5 minutes or less from where I live, but I don't plan to visit this location again.
