Our Family Story:
It all started in 1980 when Mark was in Rochester NY: Mark Platt, owner of A/C Filters 4 Less went to a trade school in 1978, which was a Vocational Technical Center for Heating and Air Conditioning in Rochester New York. After he finished school, he knew that Florida was the place to work in the HVAC industry. He wanted to pursue his expertise in this field, so he moved to South Florida where he became a certified mechanic after additional schooling and also earned his EPA License.

After working in this field for many years, and having extensive technical training, he decided to open an online business to sell AC and Furnace Filters. What made his business so unique from the start was that he also knew that most people were shopping online, so he had the insight to start his own online company. He also knew that he had the technical knowledge to help his customers find the right type of filters for their needs. One simple website quickly grew into a successful company. We shipped our first order within a week of opening the website, and the rest is history.
