All restaurants miss out on reaching customers whether they are current customers or new customers they are trying to draw in. Most of them do not realize it either. Below you will see the most two common reasons we know of for why restaurants miss out on these customers and also ways they can fix it as well.
Reason number one is the the restaurant does not offer delivery. A customer who wants delivery can be for any reason at all. It can be because they are too tired, they do not have the extra gas, or they are just too busy. So they decide to either cook in or order from a pizza place which does deliver to them. Now there is nothing wrong with a pizza at all but lets face it most people like a variety of food not just the same type of food all the time. So that is one reason why restaurants miss out on reaching customers is because they do not offer some form of delivery. 

Reason number two is not enough dine in space during busy days in their restaurant. Now this is a big reason why restaurants lose customers. As a customer how many times have you visited a restaurant on one of their busy days just to realize there is an hour or more wait? When you find out about the wait do you stay and wait? We will tell you some customers will wait because they love the food and the restaurant itself. But we will also tell you that some customers will leave and go somewhere else where there is not much of a wait. Now that restaurant has missed a customer at least for that day. If the restaurant would offer delivery it would solve this issue as well. This is the second major reason why restaurants miss out on reaching customers.

So what have we learned? What is the common resolution to both of these ways restaurants miss out on customers. The answer is restaurants need to offer delivery. They miss out on too many customers without offering it. Now we understand why some restaurants may not offer delivery. They think that there is too much liability in doing it. The restaurants would have to get the insurances needed to deliver, hire extra staff just for delivery purposes, and purchase new things to accommodate the additional delivery service. But we have a resolution to this problem as well.
