VCA Roswell Animal Hospital

I have been going here with our two dogs since we moved here from Ohio four years ago. This was recommended to me highly by several friends. The staff couldn't be more attentive, caring and knowlegable. The day after each visit for even a basic checkup, I always receive a followup call from the veterinarian to check on my dogs. The care here far exceed that which my pets have gotten anywhere else in 20 years. I have never taken the time to write a review before, but everytime I see other's comments when I do a Goggle search I have wanted to share my experience as it is so drastically different than others. I want to say that I have never boarded my dogs and that I believe there have been significant staff changes in the last several years.

yesterday with the free coupon - first my daughter called to make the appt than I called to reconfirm explaining I had been there 5 months prior with our other pet (at that time I used the coupon and purchsed about $140 in extras). and the sec't said that was fine. When I arrived I waited about 20 minutes (I was told doctor running late) than went to a room where a vet asst came and talked to us - than I waited another 20 min. Finnally the sec't came and told us the vet would NOT see our dog because we brought our other pet 5 months ago and although the coupon says 2 pets we waited too long - even though I called ahead and explained this. I will definitly NOT recomend this service as I felt dis- respected by the lack of up front information - wasting my time and the vets abuse.

I had to board my dogs recently but their shots were a month overdue. The kennel called this place for me, and made a same day appointment. The receptionist was very nice and helped me get my three dogs out of the car. The doctor was also nice, and seemed like she cared about my dogs. She asked lots of questions concerning my older dog's behavioral changes. The doctor called a day or two later to make sure I got them boarded okay, and called about a week later to check on my youngest dog's skin and ear problems.

The office was very clean and smelled nice. They don't have payment plans, but they do have in-office credit applications. I was able to get one even with my bad credit. Overall, I would recommend this animal hospital to people who want good care and can handle the extra expense (they have a giant building, some in-house infection-testing, lots of staff).
