Reviews about Tony's Market
Lots of interesting and novel food
Lots of interesting and novel food items for sale, and some are even edible, but nearly everyting is hard frozen and horribly OVERPRICED. We were told they had wild-caught salmon (as opposed to farm-raised), but Albertson's sells that for a lot less. I bought their crabcakes, and they had filled them with some kind of smoked sausage which totally ovewhelmed the flavor of the crab. Who puts sausage in a crab cake? Tom's Market continues the tradition in dowtown Denver of pretentious, overly-expensive food establishments, like Morton's Steakhouse or the Chophouse that offer items that can be purchased elsewhere for substantially less money. Also, there is some kind of myth out there that Tom's sells healthy food, but I saw very little of that in the store. The store itself is cramped and uncomfortable to walk around in. I suggest going to Sunflower Market or Whole Foods for a better experience that will leave you with some change in your wallet or purse.

Tony's Market just opened a store near downtown on Broadway. And for the first time, they've opened a bistro with it. Great sit down lunch and dinner with everything from steak to sandwiches to pizza to beer and wine.
