The Peppered Cupcake is a gourmet cupcakery. Our mission is to provide even the most sophisticated palette with creative, exciting, irresistible, gourmet cupcakes that will give a whole new twist to the cupcake concept. Each of our gourmet cupcake recipes are baked fresh and from scratch using fresh ingredients. We are constantly inventing and reinventing our recipes to please our sophisticated Foodies. Our cupcakes are unique combinations inspired by some of our favorite dishes. Some sweet, some savory, some a combination of both. Southern influences have also made an impact by incorporating a Southern flare in some of our cupcakes.
The Peppered Cupcake was founded in October of 2008 and has been recognized throughout Eastern NC as gourmet cupcakes delivered fresh to your door. We started carrying our cupcakes in retail stores, restaurants and gourmet grocers from Greenville, New Bern, Emerald Isle and with a heavy emphasis in Kinston and Wilmington by 2010.
Our first storefront was in Kinston, NC by 2012. That store closed in February of 2014 and our new shop is located downtown Wilmington at 105 S. Front St. We no longer delivery or offer wholesale. Come see us!
