The Apartments At Oberlin Court

Horrible!!! Live anywhere else. It's student housing!!! Dogs go to the bathroom everywhere and nobody picks it up. Smells like dog urine when walking into the back gate. Office staff is bitchy and hassle you when you have a question. Noise level is awful, especially on ...weekends, if you complain they tell you to call the police even though there is security that is paid for with our rent. The security is useless, he's about ten years old and weighs 10lbs, not sure how he keeps things safe. Hidden fees, take extremely long to respond to maintenance issues. Share water bill with the entire building????? What???? Amenities that are included in rent payment are lousy; coffee is often out or no cups, computers broken and printer only works 10% of the time. Oberlin Court looks like a nice place on the outside, but here is the truth of my experience. Once moved in I realized the apartment had carpet beetles within a few days. The staff offered me to have the carpets steam cleaned, but they never went away. The metal... gates, which never lock and if they do you can get into them by unscrewing a bolt, slam all day and all night which initially woke me up thinking they were gunshots. Maintenance was very unprofessional. I had my shower drain cleared once because my bathtub would not drain. I came home to a toilet with hair and drain sludge sitting in it. I received no notice that maintenance was in my apartment besides that charm. Upon move out I lost nearly a quarter of my deposit due to apartment damage. I asked for a description or proof and received a low quality photo of the "damage". I received part of my deposit after repeatedly expressing that I had never seen it before and was in disbelief that that was my unit. For the price, I definitely do not recommend OC. Read More
