Tabernavle Christian School

Tabernacle has great teachers. They strive in doing their best to assure your toddlers success. They have the a beka program which ensures your child will be able to read once they leave in K4. All around great school. Nap time is NOT with infants and toddlers in one room. The infants stay in their classrooms in the cribs. I have never had a problem with my twins going outside to play in an orange ozone. The teachers are sitting watching the kids play, but I have also seen the teachers interacting playing with the kids at play time. Overall, GREAT SCHOOL.

MY CHILD LOVED HER TEACHER AT THIS SCHOOL, BUT THEY DID NOT ALWAYS MAKE THE BEST CHOICES. THE TEACHERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND NICE THOUGH. MY CHILD WAS TAKEN OUTSIDE ON DAY THAT THERE WAS A CODE ORANGE OZONE ALERT. ALSO, ALL OF THE CHILDREN (INFANT-4 YEARS OLD) SLEEP IN ONE ROOM ON MATS ON THE FLOOR. KIDS ARE ALLOWED TO EAT LOTS OF JUNK FOOD DURING THE SCHOOL HOURS. MY CHILD'S SIPPY CUP WAS NEVER USED, THEREFORE SHE WAS IN HER CHANGE OF CLOTHES MANY DAYS OUT OF THE WEEK DUE TO HER JUICE SPILLING ALL OVER HER CLOTHING. WHEN THE CHILDREN GO OUTSIDE TO PLAY AT THE PUBLIC PARK ACROSS THE STREET, THE TEACHERS ALL SIT UNDER THE SHADE (WHICH IS A COUPLE OF FEET AWAY FROM THE PLAYGROUND). THE PLAYGROUND IS CLOSE TO THE ROAD AND IS NOT FENCED IN IN ANY WAY. MEDICATIONS WERE NOT GIVEN TO MY CHILD DAILY AS THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. DESPITE MY ASKING THEM NOT TO, TEACHERS SAT AND HELD MY CHILD ALL DAY, WHICH IS A NIGHTMARE WHEN YOU BRING YOUR CHILD HOME AND THEY HAVE THE SAME EXPECTATIONS. MY CHILD LOVED HER TEACHERS AND SCHOOL (RIGHTFULLY SO WHEN SHE WAS SPOILED ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS), BUT THEY DID NOT ALWAYS MAKE THE VERY BEST DECISIONS.
