Shangri-La Motel

This was my least favorite motel experience ever. On the first day, we called the front "desk" to ask about the wireless internet that did not work in the room, and they were very rude and yelled at us and told us to keep trying. We eventually discovered that the wireless internet worked outside in the 20-something degree weather. Our room had not been cleaned on the second or final day of our stay. The mattresses were very substandard as the coils poked us in the back, and the pillows were so flat you have to fold them a few times to get any real use out of them. One of my traveling companions found the floor to be more comfortable than his bed. On the positive side, there were plenty of TV channels, and the management, rude as they were, brought us the microwave we asked for rather quickly. I would rather pay a few more dollars a night somewhere else than stay there again. Also, their web site exaggerates big time.
