This title company caused so many issues during our closing. We had a closing scheduled for the 15th of the month and on the day before I had to call to schedule the appointment. When we arrived, the notary who was overseeing our signing was asleep in her car in the front of the building. Our title agent couldn't get the documents to the lender in time, so we drove them over to ensure that everything would process in time. The next day when we expected to get keys, we found out that the seller hadn't signed the documents and they were being FedEx-ed overnight....further delaying our funding and getting our keys. The title agent was unprofessional, unreliable, and inefficient. She had also made an error in our money owed, we will be getting money back but it makes me question what other errors she made.

Dear Mary Napier,
The Affidavit of Property Value that my husband and I signed was ILLEGALLY modified by a Notary Public employed at Security Title Agency, in Maricopa Couny, AZ.

Notary, Kerry A. Evans, without our knowledge or consent, added inaccurate information to the Affidavit after we signed the document in front of a Notary in California. I have located the copy that we signed and compared it to the document that was filed with Mohave County and can provide the two copies as evidence of malpractice.

Please assure us that our property will be assessed as a residence and not as rental property as was falsified by Kerry Evans after we signed the Affidavit.
