My practice focuses on providing a holistic and integrated approach to concerns such anxiety, depression,stress management, self esteem, abus...e & trauma, grief & loss, and relationship concerns. I am trained in mindfulness-based approaches, somatic psychotherapy, play and art therapy, as well traditional cognitive therapy. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults.

With children, I use play therapy and art to explore concerns such as abuse, behavior issues, self-esteem, ADHD, anxiety,grief, divorce, and domestic violence. Through these gentle and creative methods, children are able to explore emotions, discover their strengths, and build coping skills.

My work with adolescents and adults is focused on finding balance, strengthening resiliency, discovering adaptive coping skills, building self-esteem, and discovering solutions for what led them to therapy. I help create a safe, open and compassionate space for all my clients.

For over 16 years, I have worked with children and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, HIV/AIDS, terminal illness, disability, grief, identity concerns,domestic violence, abuse, trauma, divorce, separation, and relationship concerns.

In addition to being a licensed therapist, I am a registered yoga teacher. I currently teach trauma-sensitive yoga classes for women focusing on mindfulness. Read More
