10 ways I create backlinks to my MC page
A backlink is created anytime you leave content on a page on the MC network. By leaving a comment or using the free features MC offers, we create links that direct people back to our MC listings and main websites. Here are 10 ways I create LINKS back to my page within the MerchantCircle network.
1. When another merchant accepts my invite, or vice versa
2. When I leave content on another merchants "Talk To Me"
3. When I post in the forum
4. When I give or receive a review
5. When I create an ad, a coupon, a sale, or a promotion,
6. When I post on another merchants bulletin board
7. When I create a hot spot ( or as they're now called See all Lists ) This is found on every cities home page
8. When I invite merchants who have not claimed their pages yet
9. When I comment on someones blog
10. When I Pick Local Favorites
These are all great ways to drive traffic to your site. I do want to clarify that when I leave comments I use content that is beneficial to the merchant that I'm leaving the content for. I don't post my advertisement or invite requests on peoples talk to me. I do that through the bulletin board feature. Once a merchant accepts my invite I leave a thank you and offer help if needed. My goal is to create at least 20-40 new links per day throughout the MC network. You'd be surprised how fast they add up.
