great place to shop for gifts!

When we pulled in, I expected a small junky store. However..inside was wonderful! There is a little bit of everything, yet not an overwhelming amount of each thing. It is all crammed together though. The store is actually big, but they have SO many items! They have an electric train layout, made so kids can push different buttons to make it go and do different things. Lots of models, books, craft stuff, dress up, jewelry, puppets and tons (aisles and aisles) of different dolls! I didn't have the kids with us either time we went, and still stayed about an hour each time! \t\nLast visit every aisle someone stopped us to ask if we needed help, sometimes more than one stopped per aisle. Today no one did though. Check out clerks did seem to have a poor attitide each time.\t\nEven with that, it's worth the drive to go!

Fun store but not so fun employees

This is a great toy store, but would it really be asking too much if the employees smiled? They do work in a toy store, so they should be at least tolerant of children. Their facial expressions, mannerisms, and avoidance tactics imply that they do not like working with children. I visit this store frequently, and I have yet to see one of the employees smile or much less greet me. There is a large selection of toys, so first time buyers may require assistance in sorting through the selection. When I asked for assistance in locating an age appropriate toy, I was told, "Whatever we have out there, is all that we've got." I have even had other customers ask me for advice.
